Hello,

which is the best old speed kit in your opinion ?

okrasa TS1200
okrasa TS1300-30
judson supercharger
speedwell sprint kit

Please consider cost, availability and reliability.
I have an original 1200 62 ragtop ...

However do not expect to get much change out of about £5k.

Judson is far cheaper as a good one should cost you about £1200 ish.

There's also Pepco, Mag, Shorrock. If you can find one.

Uau
So about 1300 € for judson and about 5700 € for okrasa TS1200.
Do you mean complete kit ?

The one in photo is a TS1300-30 ?

Why okrasa is the best for you ? is difficult as maintenance ?

Sorry for many questions :d

If you want a Judson from a reliable source you will need to pay nearer €2000. The Shorrock VW Supercharger kit was made only for the later 40hp engine and are extremely rare.

A twin carb kit, some head work and a good exhaust would probably be a good start for a lot less money. A cam too if you want to split the motor.

I have seen kits at Camberg twice for about £1000, but i expect that prices have gone up since then.

This is a 34hp kit, and has a NOS 69mm SPG roller bearing crank, so it is the same as a TSV 1300 kit, but it also has bigger pistons so is 1485cc.

Okrasa is better engineered kit, and the torque i get from this kit is really good.

What sort of thing you after?? are you trying to keep a vintage theme, if so, twin carb kits are the cheapest, however if you just want to go faster, a single port 1500 is a great little vintage engine.
