Morning folks,

Please excuse a dumb question from a novice Oval owner. I thought the original body paint colour is stamped on the vin plate, but I can't seem to spot it. Is there anywhere else I can look?

The car had a re-spray sometime in the 70's in what looks like a shade darker than Java Green, but I can see some of the original green in the spare wheel well. I'm assuming that as a 53' the car would have either been either L11 Pastel Green or L19 Atlantic Green.

Any help much appreciated.
