Could anyone let us know where in the UK we can find new and used parts for our '56 Oval bug? Seem to be having a challenge sorcing them.

Of course, the Slough Swap Meet on Sunday 8th Nov. is likely to be a good source of parts. There's usually a very good selection of sellers with some nice early parts if you are lucky! What is it you are looking for?

Hi,
We've just picked up our '56 today and so will go through it tomorrow morning to see exactly what we need to get however off top of my head its things like glove box insert, chrome dash speaker grille, speedo, grab handle, all body seals, rear view mirror...pretty much all things really. Want to take our time restoring her as no hurry seeing as she's road worthy.
Thanks for any pointers - shame we cannot get to Slough tomorrow!
