Following on from my Bro's visit to the Porsche Automuseum - Gmünd , this time he stopped in to have a look around the Wolfsburg museum.

If anyone knows of any other really interesting car museums, let me know. He travels around A LOT so it could really be anywhere...

You really mean ANY other museum?
Two more car museums in Germany, both in Stuttgart.

1. Mercedes Museum
Great architecture, shows the complete automotive history from the beginning till now.
And also lots of contemporary history.

2. Porsche Museum, located in Stuttgart too, 20 min drive from Mercedes.
Only cars are shown. Not as good as the Mercedes Museum, but if you are already in Stuttgart...

As for museums,I’ve heard a rumour there’s a family in a small town in Weserbergland, Germany who have quite a number of very old VW’s, Porsche’s and Rometsch’s. They also import unrestorable beetle wrecks from Lithuania :wink:
