Trying to find a complete 30hp working engine for my car as its 12v engine just cannot stay,and im just not going to be happy with the 64 6v i bought last week

just missed out on one on ebay at the weekend(was it you who outbid me?:evil: ...lol)and the only other one i know went in the 51

are there any other european forums that people use as i try and hunt something down?

ive tried ebay germany but many will not sell to non germans!

if you have one or any help is appreciated

p.s,have seen the one on uk ebay at the moment but think 500 is too much considering its incomplete

How far are you prepared to go to get one? You´ll eat up hundreds getting one from Germany.

Tried any of the UK Bus import/resto places or Cal look shops? They normally get rid of most of the running gear.

I have a couple of engines which need rebuilding which will be for sale for £25-£50 if either are any good to you?

Karmann Konnection do have rebuilt engines in stock from time to time.
BBT in Belgium is another source and can deliver to the UK.

I just had a look at Ebay Germany. There are several 30PS motors offered at the moment.
Transport by Ilox.de to GB would cost around 160-170 GBP.
If you need help for translation or contact to german sellers, let me know.
If the people don't want to sell outside Germany, someone from Germany could buy, and give them an english delivery address.
I regularly go through the bugnet ads. 30Ps engines aren't often offered there.

Search for "Käfer Motor 30PS"
Is it difficult to get the "ä" with an english keyboard??

You can put an ä in easily by holding down the 'Alt' key, whilst typing 132. UK keyboards don't have any other provision for putting accents on letters......

Not tricky at all. Alt+u and then a gives you ä
