Why was the woman paying so much attention to the 1303 - did I miss a point:?

Nice to see that the VW38 has now been completely lost into a repro

The 03 belonged to a German actor.

There you go yet again. Nothing nice to say, nothing helpful. Not one damn time that I can remember! Why don´t you post a picture of your car? Or answer a question when someone asks one? Or do a how to? Don´t just sit there slating everyone you can, trying to bait people just to get a response, simply because you crave the attention - thats something that most people manage to leave behind after the age of about twelve.

So what if bits of the 38 are new? It´ll still be the most original 38 that there is. Better than being lost at the bottom of someones garden in a corner of Lithuania.

Christ, nobody can do anything right when your about, can they?

They could have had it shot blasted, and painted to preserve it, and left the remains in a glass case never to leave the museum. I'm far more excited by what they've done, are you not at all in awe of the time and craftsmanship put into it?

There is still a lot of '38 metal there, they really have spent ages meticulously saving old bent and rusty metal that on any other restoration would have simply been chopped out and replaced.

There, I bit.

German ingenuity??? Not for me!
The people who did this know what it is!!!
Anyway it's NOT a good idea to pull something out with the 38!!!

I'm clearly missing something here, that looks to be an 'early' car with what I guess is a home-made battery strap? On the wrong side of the car?
