As some of you know and some don't, we are running an Oldspeed Cannonball Challenge, form a secret start point to Bad Camberg, over a distance of around 140Km.

There is talk on forums of people taking part in the Cannonball that aren't registered..........

Registration closes midnight 1st april and there will be NO late entries or entries on the day, so if your not registered you won't be taking part.........

We still have some slots available for entrants that qualify, here are some of the rules, if you think that you qualify and wish to take part please PM us.....

The rules

Vehicles - Pre '57 T1, PreA, Barndoors, Coachbuild and special bodies.
Motor's MUST be Oldspeed, 25hp, 30hp, 2 piece Porsche (period correct) or 3 piece Porsche - In the unlimited class (must also be period correct) others may be allowed BUT will not feature in G.C.
Solex 40 PII's allowed ONLY in unlimited class, so if you are using them you are in the unlimited class!
3 Classes - up to 1300, up to 1500 and unlimited.
Class winners MUST have completed ALL the checkpoints, otherwise the class win will be awarded to the next car in class that has.
All tyre types allowed.
No disc brakes, 60mm brakes allowed.
No Avgas, no NOS, high octane pump fuel allowed.
No GPS or Satnav.
Roll cages allowed.
Helmets optional.
No Rancho or similar gearboxes, they must be period correct.
Gearboxes may have different ratios to original.
NO narrowed beams or pans on the ground!
Straight through exhaust allowed.
Twin spark allowed.
All vehicles MUST have driver and navigator seats.
Period dress and war paint optional.
If in case of a Le Mans start you will be allowed to warm your engines, although they must be turned off 5 mins before official start.
For Le Mans start challengers will draw their start position out of a hat.
1300 class will leave first.
1500 and unlimited class will start together.
