I have a 66 Beetle that in the past had factory/dealer installed air conditioning. I removed the compressor some time ago and cannot remember how it was mounted or driven. I'm getting rid of the car and need to reinstall the compressor. It has a double-groove clutched pulley, so I am guessing there was a belt from the crankshaft pulley to the compressor and another belt from the Compressor to the generator. I can't begin to figure out how the compressor was mounted - all I know is that it was mounted on the left side of then engine (looking forward)as the refrigerant lines are still there. Could anyone share a picture or info on this? Thanks.......
