It's the VW Classic weekend... I wish I was there 😞

Photos on Facebook look great so far, with a few familiar faces.  600930_3024786233199_1280959596_n.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.

I've never been to the VW Classic, but I'd love to go one day. Has anyone on here ever been?

Btw, I love those tyres tracks down the middle of the road... that must've been interesting to watch

Nice pic, it looks like the whole street are into it :d

Actually a friend of ours from years back who owns the other half of our semi has moved back to the UK after working in Vietnam for 8 years. He wants to get another bug, so I am on the look out for him

I see over on thesamba that there are plans for a huge Barndoor lineup at the classic, not sure how many they are expecting ?

ive been to the classic half a dozen times.

mainly to see friends. the vw classic show on the sunday is boring, as youve already seen all the cars at the open houses etc.......oh and its just in a car park under the blazing sunshine.

Rich Kimballs bbq is ace, and the WCCR open house is really interesting. Nicks Burgers meet is also good.

Kelly Park and the Treffen are much better shows IMHO

A car park filled with VW's in the blazing sun sounds pretty good about now...

I went to the Kelley Park show back in 1998, it was an enjoyable show. Not as good as BC or HO (obviously, nothing could be!), but it was good.

What is the Treffen? Is that the Solvang vintage show?

For me, it's undoubtably Hessisch & Camberg. If you can only ever make one vintage VW show, pick one of those two. Probably Hessisch over Camberg.

Definitely Hessisch over Camberg.
