On August 4 and 5, 2012 the split bus only event "Splitbus Nation" will take place in the Domain Puyenbroeck Wachtebeke (Belgium) for the third time. This biennial event is entirely dedicated to the Volkswagen T1 buses. Our main sponsor BBT and all other sponsors make it possible to put down another great event. In the past two editions hundreds of owners of split buses from France, Germany, Netherlands, England and Scotland made a visit to this meeting.

As an organization we offer a varied program with a tour and barbecue on Saturday. On Sunday a meeting with many exhibitors with all VW-related issues such as parts, pinstriping, T-shirts, miniatures and some fun activities. The children are not forgotten with a bouncy castle, face painting and children's bus painting. The domain Puyenbroeck features a spacious site with all necessary facilities (toilets, showers and electricity connection). In addition, the park also offers a range of leisure and sports facilities for young and old as an Olympic swimming pool, mini golf, playgrounds for the kids and you can always visit the restaurant "The 4 Seasons" on the domain.

Splitbus Nation 2012 is over! SBN 2010 was a great event and therefore difficult to surpass but given the courtesy of the participants we succeeded!

In addition to David Eccles, who was present in 2010 too, we also had Rikki James over throughout the weekend with his '54 RHD barndoor Samba of which there are only 17 known. 'Best of Show' was 'Buzz' Burrell' with an even more rare bus, a RHD barndoor 11 window sunroof also from 1954.
