I prefare the Stolls decklid,with the lower,flatter rear light assembly.
A smaller back window would have been nice,but that's us speaking now.At the time it was done, it was probably considered a safe move.

Wonder what the wind resistance was with the silly wings on ???????????

The back window is a little large I admit, but the side view of the Heb coupe is really nasty IMHO.

With regards to the window, at the time (1956), the bigger the better. Large pieces of curved glass were very difficult to manufacture (and expensive), but the technology was moving forward at a rate of knots.

Tommy Dobson bought the car in the mid-1970s before Bob got his hands on it.
