Hi who is the best person to get some info/paper work about a car so it can be presented to the Dvla. Instead of going to Wolfsburg.

Is it an imported car that you are registering here? If so, the DVLA except evidence from recognised car clubs, the Historic VW Club is one. If you provide them with the chassis number of your vehicle, they will send you a letter stating the car's year of manufacture which you can present to the DVLA. I think that you may have to pay the club a fee, or become a paid up member.

Its to do with an incorrect listing on a log book but there is no were on the form you can change it. Talked to them on the phone and its like hitting your head against a brick wall.
Its the D.3 on the log book that's wrong.
