I've had my strap over air filter back from being blasted & coated. However the lid doesn't seem to fit properly, the lip seems to catch on the strap. The number on the lid is 111.129.611. Is this the right lid ?

Why not? Its not supposed the lid is not supposed to be flush with the bottom part. Looks pretty good to me. I'll shoot another picture of mine at that angle when I get home.

PS - Mine barely latches. You need to really pull on the strap to get it together. I know mine isn't damaged as it came off of NOS industrial engine.
