Hi thanks for that, as least these are only minor things, i must buy that book you all keep talking about, then maby i can fabricate the battery bracket and get the seat mounts correct!
Any ideas on paint code?
Hopefully the chap who posted on my 'chassis wanted' post will still be selling his 52, so i can use the parts from that. then either sell the spine or keep it for another project. Id quite like to build a kubel, as the chap i got the 49 chassis from, makes and supplies props for war films. He supplied all the vehicles, guns, clothes and tank blocks etc for 'saving private ryan' (especially the beach scene), 'Brothers in arms', 'Battle of Dunkirk', the recent docu/soap 'Hitlers Britian' and even the motorbikes in the 'indiana jones films' they were all tucked away in his workshops!!! He has 3 original kubles and instead of having to blow them up he makes replicas for the pyrotechnics scenes. He makes the entire bodies from scratch, using his originals as mouldings and the quality of work is probably better than the originals. well infact they are an almost exact copy, and the bonus is they are brand new! So watch this space as they say! Though i havn't told my misses, as you know im already working on 4 cars!
Anyway please help me with the paint code. im about the weld up the deluxe trim holes  fingers crossed!
