I have had the same thoughts, but he has not reponded since the 8 of may 07 that is the only reason I think it is strange.

he lives between Greece and Belgium, he is hard to get hold of, i had a nightmare recently.

He is not dishonest, just a nightmare to get stuff off of.

I heard from him this last weekend about some Fram filters I have. I was wanting to get some fittings for them? He wanted me to send them to him. I am not to sure about doing that now!  11128.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.

Dont misunderstand me, I have made several deals with Steph before with no problems, but now he has almost disapeared.

I can sympathise with everyone here...especially Peter.

This is a very sad situation as I count Steph as a good friend. We have collaborated in several projects over the years and Steph was always there on email, we never phoned as he always responded immediately.

My last contact with him was an email from him dated 22 March 2007 and a long conversation with him at The Volksworld Show on the 25th March.

He seemed fine but tired. He was having to split his time between business and Family, driving long distances between his home, his workshop and a hospital where his father was very seriously ill.

Something inevitably had to give and it seems to be his business. I have fielded several emails from his customers and wholesalers who can't contact him either.

All this wouldn't be so bad if he was a nasty guy who produced rubbish...but he's not. Re-establishing a hard-won business reputation is difficult and if he's not back on the scene soon I'm not sure there will be an easy way back.
