Looks nice Christian!

Have you replaced lots of metal on it, or was it a project in good condition?

A friend of mine have Heb nr 410.

Hi Thomas,
no it was o very good car and we did not have to replace lots of metall. The car was in a barn since about 1963 or 1965.

Thanks for tha pics Christian,

Fantastic condition! On the outside it looks almost like my Heb.
I seems to be very original except the colour. Did it still has it´s original engine?

Hi Thomas,
this is a factory rebuild engine (24,5 PS )that was put from Volkswagen in 1961 in the car.
It is documented in the orginal papers i have .
Bye Christian
PS Are you comeing with your Heb next year ?

Hi Christian,

They probably repaint your Heb white and replaced the engine at the same time 1961.

My Heb was repainted 1963.

I hope I can visit the meeting with the Heb. I have already registrated me for the meeting, but with my 54 Samba. I haven´t been to the Hessisch meet anytime, but it would be very nice, I have heard a lot of nice things of it.

I am very intersted to watch your fantastic collection.

Hessisch is the Best vintage Vw meeting, Vey nice town, very nice people, very nice organisators and a super nice museum only the :beer: are less quality:oops: , but don't worry about that, I'll take a few Belgian beers with me
I hope to met you there and to see your Heb live !

Guido,

Before you start transporting real  to H.O. next year you better transport Heb623 to Herr Bokemeier (Erker) to put the top on and install the interior!!!:d 😮
Otherwise there is maybe a Heb to short to brake the attempt!!

 ET

And your seats are the bolt down in floor type?

Do you have any photos of the lower parts of the seats. I just wonder if they looks the same as the seats on my beetle 1948.

Thanks Christian,

Thomas

What are thos aluminium rings for at the back of the seatrest?
Karmann used those also on the simili leather front seats.
My 1955 cabrio had them also.
