After checking Valve Clearances, ensure rocker cover is seated properly !!:oops:

This will save time clearing up pool of oil on road.

Just glad car was not parked on my recently paved drive !

Practice makes perfect !

Tell you whats worse!

Driving it, getting the engine red hot and then having to put it back on squarly at the side of the road burning your fingers!

I only noticed the growing pool of oil when my 10 y.o son came outside and asked me to show him where the gearbox is on a beetle !!
