does anyone have any idea what these two vents are for on the drivers side
just like the look of them

They appear to be pre 52 split beetle horn grilles! (circular)

Also used oddly of split dash hebs gloveboxes! I think?:wink:

Not standard and I cant think what purpose they might serve! Apart form feeding a petrol heater?

Don't know why but a lot of early cars come out of Sweden with these fitted.
Like JD said copying early US cars.
Must have appealed to Swedish taste,as i've never seen it happen from any other country.
