I sold Les a motor years ago for that car. I wonder if its in the car? Do I get bragging rights that I owned an Amelia Island concours winning motor?8)

No...when he advertised it on MY website for £70,000 he told me he'd fitted a newly restored engine from a chap named James but it turned out to be a duffer. I said I had one that would slot straight in...he was very grateful.

What is it about Beeskows and sagging door handles? seems like so many shots of the cars show the door handles sagging. even vintage period shots. I think there may be a recall in order.

Regarding door handles - the answer is easy: The handle, latch mechanism and spring is about the only part on a Beeskow from ..... you guessed it.... Mercedes. Congrats to Les and the new owner!
