Is anyone using a fuel additive for there 30hp engines?The valve guides in my old engine were totally shot and only a few thousand miles old. I am going to use an additive and wondered what your using.

I was using Castrol Valvemaster in the Heb's 25hp engine.
I did a bit of research when I bought the car and most things I read said use an 'approved' additive and stick with one make, don't mix them.

I also use Castrol valvemaster additive.
It gets all the best ratings.

Yes we always use additive in all our old engines, I used to use valvemaster too ( but now use a swedish alternative that Owen gets, only convenience not because its any different though)
