Ok Julian, I'm confused now! (that's not difficult) :lol: How many vintage VWs does he have? To me it sounds like:-

'54 ex-racer, which you're trying to buy
'57 (?) Deluxe, which your friend is buying
'67 Cal import
Oval cabrio

I'm assuming the '54 has ribbed doors, which leaves another two UK RHD ribbed door cars- is the cabrio a pre '56 UK RHD? And another ribbed door one as well?? :? If so, then this guy has got himself a nice collection!

No, I'm not fishing for parts, I'm just following the thread. My car's a post '55. It'd be good to catch up with you- drop me an email & let me know how things are.
