Thanks for that Rich. That´s one of those "always wanted to know that" things.
Pastel blue cars had darker blue parts - what was on the white cars as a contrasting colour? Was it a sort of brick red?

The other thing I wondered was if there were any cabrios with these coloured parts? Or were Karmann not playing the game? I had the remains of a Beryl green cabrio that seemed to have green bits on it, but it was too un-original to be sure if they came on the car.

Glad to hear that things are progressing Southerndeluxe. Look forwards to seeing pics.

The Pearl White cars had L023 Sand Stone steering wheel, L026 Honey Brown gearlever boot and L018 Sand Beige running board covers. The rear kick boards and rubber mats were also Honey Brown.

All the cabrios followed the same colour schemes as the Sedans.

I think people just repair them with regular body filler if they're not too badly damaged and cracked.

I used a two part resin/chemical metal type stuff on a Lowlight Ghia wheel that I was repairing, but that was cracked right down to the metal, with big lumps missing. I´d maybe skim it with filler afterwards, as that´s not so hard to sand down.

Your wheel shouldn´t be Turkis should it? It needs to be a darker green.

Steering wheel/indicator switch on a Turkis '61 should be L021 Hydrate Green

10,600? Not surprised it didn´t sell! Even 13.5 is stealing it.
Anyway - no green steering wheel - I´m out! (Even if I had the money)
