Hi as any one got any picture of the real vw Shift lock with a dog on the lock, as iv got one, im sure somethink missing for the lock on the in side iv got the key and theres a plat o the in side that slie to lock the gear stick but not sure how it work so any picture would be helpfull of the working.this what iv got any info be nice

Think the manufacturer was Sperrwolf.Hence the wolf.
Anyway to answer your OP, if you go to the Samba galleries and do a search for it by name,there are a load of pictures.

Very popular accessory for the Beetle in the 1950s. Sperrwolf shifter locks were an approved VW accessory from the early 1950s and sold in big numbers. Still very desirable and sought after. See pic below- in the middle is an original Sperrwolf 'mirror card' that would be supplied with every lock. The idea was that you would hook this around your rear-view mirror when you parked you car to inform any would-be car thief that your car was un-stealable....

very nice could do with one,ones i can get hold of the bottom bit, that fasteners to hold the shiftlock down to the central tunnel so im hunting now :d
