My 25bhp have just been measured and they are beyond the maximum tolerances 😞 I know it will be pretty much impossible to find a decent set of pre-1949 barrels, but does anybody know who supplies 'regular' 25bhp barrels?

Have a word with Terrys beetles ,they have rebuilt many aerly engines in the past.AA automotive make 30hp b+p but you would have to machine the block.

why not machining them to first over or vw polo pistons?

www.ursula-hagen.de should have something ...but i think they are really expensive, and what i heared from him is that he uses polo 1.1 pistons, they have 75,5mm and 20mm wristpin, you only have to machin the deckhight (dome) and bore the cylinders...

i think thats the one he uses:

I have a few 'possible' leads on NOS or good used original parts, so I will probably pursue that route first.
