As usual....slow progress due to other occupation. Some other cars of me needed attention and 3 ladys in the house needed attention to...
I managed to work a bit on the car. The spare wheel sheet metal was gone in the car so I need to make some sheets. The lower part and the one with the tabs are new made. Took me some time. Again, the tabs need to punched out so a tool was made. On weekday's, I think on how to make this or that. On saturday I try it out. Most of the time I only can work on the car in one afternoon on sat. That is not much.
Another part that is in the pipe line is the raingutter on the engine cover. I discovered that 3 styles are used. The assembled ones on the first batch of hebs, the pressed one on the later cars welded on the rear cowl and the one piece pressed together with the rear cowl. And this is only in a time gap of 1.5 years of production. Weird.
And I had the chance to score some parts...They are not the best parts but I have them. And those can be worked on in the house.:omg: The rear lights are self made. They are rough formed. The glass is original. I guess a 6 monthly update is my standard.:x
