I'm wandering about the use of the bracket in the photo.
Is it a factory installed item/assembly on every split or oval, or a repair/aftermarket piece?
I noticed by taking the hinges off of my 54 for respray, they were not there but certainly could improve the setup by avoiding bending the attachment holes.
Any ideas anyone?
