Yeah, still hoping for Stanford Hall and Vikki Farm first too, but there's still soooooooooooooo much to do, and as always its 3rd parties who will let us down, but we're still aiming for it.

Getting there Barclay.
Always amazes me looking at an early 25hp engine in pieces, how they stand up to a 100K+ miles of punishment.

How long is the barndoor away at the paint shop and who's doing it?

It will be away about 10 weeks

Gone to Cotswold body shop group.

Its a BMW main dealership that built this custom paint shop for their 9 main dealerships, but they also do loads of classic cars - they recently painted a friend of mine's race car and it blew me away - so was really pleased I found them. Plus 3 of the guys there are into VWs too!

Thought I'd just posted a long reply only to find I hadn't!!

Anyhow, just been reading the blog, Barclay, and it looks like a 'proper' job.

I know Barndoors are worth a few bob now, but the level of build this has gone into is fairly epic!

Like George, I'm looking forwards to a body shot and a good look at it at Stanford.
