Which steering wheel is correct for our '60? · International Vintage Volkswagen Forums

The wheel in our bug has the 'D' shaped hornring, but I'm sure I've seen bugs of this age with the straight horn strip that sits across the 2 arms of the wheel?

Can anyone confirm which is correct?

Yours should have the D-ring. The totally correct steering wheel for yours is a '60/'61 only steering wheel part no. 113415651D.
