BEWARE FOR ALEXWOA IT'S A CROOK

nicolass wrote:

I bought 1 item off Alexwoa and it was not a happy experience at all.

The item went missing in the post and all requests for shipping tracking information and a requests for him to follow up on shipping from his end were ignored. As the item was bought off ebay I placed a dispute claim, which again got no response from Alexwoa. As there was no communication, ebay resolved the dispute in my favor and took the payment back off Alexwoa and returned it to me.

I kept receiving very abusive emails about taking the money etc, but while the dispute resolution was in my favor I ignored him.

Some months later the item did arrive, so I did the right thing and paid the money back.

I could not say that Alexwoa is a crook, but I know that I will never choose to deal with him again. (especially at the prices that he asks)

Yes i can tell you ALEXWOA is a crook and i tell it every one . stay out of the way and don't buy from him
I bought a dual mirror for a oval i won on Ebay. I give my full name , adress and zippcode After 4 weeks i send a email about my mirror no respons .After 5 emails i get a respons "Yes the mirror game back the adress you give it don't exist do you live under a bridge ,when i am interested in the mirror i must pay 1 more shipping cost ". So finaly after paying 1 more shipping cost you understand i never recieved the mirror. The mirror shows up every month on Ebay.On the last Bad Camberg he was on the list so i send him a email you can take the mirror with you and i can collect the mirror in BC.The mail i get from him "after storage the mirror for 2 years you must pay me 300 euro a year "
I take my lost and the only thing i can do is warning people not to buy from him

Did you confront him at B.C?
I'm afraid i would have had to.
I have heard many poor feedbacks concerning this person.
He is probably a good friend of Romano.

This much for an Oval??

Unless my arithmetic is way out, that's over £36K at today's exchange rate.

If that's 'original', it's no way a '55!
Unless if's one of those very expensive prototypes with twin-tailpipes and non-grooved doors!

Yes, I noticed that too. It looks 99% '56/ '57 model year with it's twin tailpipes, snowflake rear lights, non-ribbed doors, later steering wheel etc etc, but it has a "straight" gearstick...

I still can't believe the asking price.

In the 70 you can buy a oval/split beetle around the 500 euro in good condition it was 10 times your salary

It's now reduced to 37,000 euros. A much more sensible price for an Oval  :d
