Anyone know the names of any Wolfsburg West dealers in Europe other than Karmann Konnection?

I'm after a pair of triple chrome plated blade bumpers and apparantly KK only sell the stainless ones now :?

I looked at ordering direct but the postage worked out $230 plus import duties wouldn't this send it over the cost of buying in Europe?

I have asked KK for the triple chrome plated ones but got told that they don't do them anymore but got told stainless ones are the best quality. I'm waiting to hear if they have genuine bumpers but can't wait too long.

Stainless one's aren't good, over-riders won't fit them and they have marks around the bolts holes then there's the rippling of the chrome along the bends.

Yeah, probably would be cheaper to buy in Europe, they'd ship in bulk and get the shipping price down - but you still have to pay the import duties.

Are you sure the overriders are right?

Your best bet if you don't want the stainless ones might be just to get some original bumpers and get them re-chromed.

I can't understand why KK are WW dealers but don't sell them :?

I've tried 3 sets of over-riders as I thought they were at fault at first, 2 stainless ones and 1 set of genuine ones. It's actually the hole to bolt up the rear over-riders is too low. The profile of the bumper doesn't match either.

I'd love to find a genuine pair of bumpers and have them re-chromed, genuine always fits best! I do have a genuine rear but it's not perfect, I checked my genuine over-riders on that and they fit like a glove. If anyone has a set then please pm me. :wink:
