The company of Fritz Heinzmann is still going strong in Germamy. They make all kinds of speed governors. That's whats on the front of the engine. The smaller plate shows where to fill it with oil via the hex plug. The engine itself looks to have some sort of handle or lever to engage something with the drive pulley. It would be interesting to see it in the flesh!

Thanks to Nicolass I now know that the engine was used in a boat!!:omg:
With the available 34 HP not a ship in the size of the Titanic
but more like a little boat to make a "cruise" on the pond of my Japanese Garden!!:rofl:
