We've got some days off from work and just decided to make the crossing to England next weekend. I will drive my 1968 Type 34 Ghia... We will make a 5-day trip, including a short visit to Cambridge and some days at the Suffolk coast. Looking forward to the VW show, last time I've been there (long ago...) it was great

Good pics as always Rob, nice to see you today,. Was a very enjoyable day out.
Finished of nicely with whats now become a customarry cruise home following Nicolas in his green standard '60' which sure beats following a lorry or Mr Mondeo man down the M1.

Returned yesterday from a 5-day trip to the UK with the Karmann Ghia: a short visit to Cambridge on Saturday, Stanford Hall VW meeting on Sunday, followed by a stay at the beautiful Suffolk coast (in a charming hotel in Aldeburgh). Driven about 1500 kms all together, the Type 34 proved to be the ideal touring car...

Stanford Hall was great, one of the best VW shows I've visited ever... I was amazed to see this many cars and such a crowd on a one day event. Congratulations to the organizers!

My pictures & show report will follow soon in ClassicVW Magazine.
