So 4 years ago I put a 6v Battery on the shelf for my project.. it was there longer than expected... and now I need a new one..

Any suggestions or recommendations where to get one? (they seem to be very expensive suddenly)

Julian,

You could try Lincoln Batteries in Essex. They advertise in the classic magazines. 6 volt batteries are not cheap anymore.

the best I managed is GSF today.. they have upped their prices recently having been taken over by another company. but offer huge discounts at the weekend.. I got 43% off a battery today and "only" had to pay £90..

Its dusty and probably been on the shelf for years..
