is there any way of unlocking my door handle with out the key any help would be apriciated cheers MATT

Not too sure with an oval but this will work on a later bug:
If you can get into the front compartment you may be able to remove the glove box and open a door from inside?

thanks but im not on about getting in to the car,i can get in the car but there is no keys and the handle is locked.i took the handle off and can not figure how to unlock it :?

Has it got a key number stamped on the inside?

its gota code on the back of the handle if thats what you mean

I believe oval key numbers start with SG or SC? The key number should be punched into the handle and on the ignition switch.

It should be the same key for both but either the door handle or ignition switch may have been changed so they no longer match.

I got some keys cut from the lock numbers by /Gabriels VW Garage
