I'm need colour code (L) for "batwing" steering wheel(light brown version from picture)for my oval 53'.Happy new year

Hi, your question is just in the right forum. That batwing is late-49 to -54 only. The problem is that I have not found any source for the correct colour either. The same colour is also used on the steeringcolumn gearshift stick and seatframes....

I sure hope that someone would come up with info on that colourcode. My collegue "Doodah" just put up the same Q on TheSamba forums...

The batwing wheel is correct through 55, not 54.

I'd be interested in the paint codes for the interior metalwork too (seat frames, gear stick etc).

It was posted on strictly vintage, but went missing when they got hacked.

The wheel was available in Ivory or Grey Beige.

The only Ivory reference I could find was on the KarmannGhiaOrg website  which states L62

L62 colour shade 

Could this be it ? :?

It could be L62 Ivory and L71 Beige from the same page?
