The rear one is grooved on top.
The other one is flat.

Perfect! Thanks Carsten! Just as I expected. The width is basically the same on them. Just slightly different curves.

I wonder if the wood is somehow made rotproof or just painted?
Any of the cloth or stuffing glued to the wood or is everything stapled to the wooden parts?

Sitting on the livingroom floor on my knees scetching on dimensions for the wooden rear bow and also trying my best in imagening how the bows and frame will fit when folded down....... Not easy to imagine when I dont have an original to look at and compare with....

I was at my frame yesterday.
What do you need?
That is one freaking complicated hell of bows and levers.
So glad that I do not have to "make" one.
I made some pics.

As I felt that the hinges were too tall I decided today to cut off about 10mm off the base of them to drop the frame some at the hinge areaโ€ฆ. :)
So I lined the halves up with the bolts and nuts until I get them welded on the frame.

Also started working on the parts for the rear decklidโ€ฆ. Needs some rust repair in the tip. Better do this while I have the inner part drilled outโ€ฆ. :)
