Hi i need to make a decision on the below parts, the 49 block im definatly having. The other parts im a bit aprehansive about as for example, ive seen a seamed fan shroud go for 60-90 Euro.
The wipers are original 49, in fact they have just come back from america, as a company used them to make moulds to reproduce these, so they are a good example (ill have their web site if anyone wants any soon).
Travel/shipping costs are extra, so do you think these prices are fair, as i need to let him know buy next wednesday, when he goes home to collect them!
The prices:
1949' block (1-143952) 400 Eur
Distributer ve4brs383 the older without the o-ring 200,- (this is the one that most probably needs a new axle), the newer is 150,-
Two piece cylinder tin 150,- for both sides
D Regulator with the spiral 150,- and without 120,-
Seamed Fan Shroud 150,-
Standard km Speedo (If I find a 49 stamped de luxe or standard it will be 150,-, the only difference is chrome ring and that can be stripped and painted)
wipers and bases 200,- (a pair of the heavier spare blades is 50,-). The hole for the shaft in the bases is 6mm diameter.
Please be honest, i know these parts are 'rare' so i also need to weigh up finding them again elsewhere.
