Hi - I'm new here & just felt the need to say that after 30 (yes 30!) years in various garages, my green LHD 51 split is coming out of the dark and heading for the bodyshop. Do they call it restoration with patina?!
No pics just yet but I'll post some in the next week or so. The car is remarkably original, including intact cloth trim/headlining & dash radio.
It's a big commitment, as you can tell by the time it's taken to make the decision!
And it's a worry thinking about how far to go - I don't want a show car I'm scared to use.
More as I get to grips with it - wish me luck...
