Im well aware this is going to be a bit of a mission to restore but Im up for the challenge.
Here a link to a thread on my clubs site First things first : I need to get hold of some pre 57 rear brake drums.
I was sold the car with later drums (still wide 5 pattern so Im guessing they may be 67?) Anyway, this later drums are wider than I need because the castle nut doesnt do up enough to get a split pin in. I found this out about 200meters up the road when towing it away :? fortuately I was with friends to help and I was able to loan a set from another friends car to get me home. Now my mate needs his drums back so I need to get on the hunt.
Can anyone help?
Maybe I could get these later ones machined down to fit? any thoughts?
