Wasn't the REME garrison supposed to be moving and last year's show would be the final one? I guess they've got a reprieve :? :?

Well that is a surprise addition to this year's list of meetings. :? What a pity we didn't know when the show/meetings calendar was being put together.

i thourght the REME Garrison was closing and all the display being put in storage:? anyway i'll be going hopefully i make it this year.

It seems that REME have a reprieve for another few months - but at some time in the next few months REME - such as it is will be moved to RAF Lyneham. Judy the Museum curator has asked me to see if the Vintage VW crowd wanted another day out before Arborfield Garrison becomes another Executive estate on the outskirts of Reading.
