Rear luggage floor - Changes? · International Vintage Volkswagen Forums

Hello, Can someone please tell me at what age the early luggage floor shape (in my 53 standard)changed to the later type?

The floor in the Standard is a lot "squarer" on the front edge than later cars... just need to know when it changed!???

changing the subject slightly....

does yours have the gearbox inspection panel cut into the luggage floor?

if so, I don't spose you can measure the hole for me could you ?

I've got 3 x '53s and 1 x Jan 54.. but no inspection holes.
