A few months ago my generator starter to have a slight rattle at idle, I didn't think much of it but as it has got a bit worse recently and I was pulling the engine anyway I decided to have a looksee.
This is what a fan should look like, this one is actually slightly worn, there should be near perfectly flat edges for the centre shaft to locate in.
This is what I had, hanging on by a thread. :rofl:
A new fan and I'm now back in business. :thumbup:
