Hi Guys wondered if you could help, the drivers side door window on my 55 oval has a tendancy to slide down when i hit bumps or potholes. So i decided to investigate the other day, upon removing the door card and winding the handle it would seem items 95 & 96 in the picture are missing.


does anybody now if this item is specific to just the the Oval or does it cross over to beetle models produced 1960 upwards?

Hi Sean,
You can get new window lift channels from various sources. Status VW do them for about £25 and also the thin piece of rubber that holds the glass in the channel. If you're quick you can order one from Status and pick it up at Bugfreeze this weekend, if you're going.
