My beetle is a 1967. The number starts with 117, and it has the updated headlights. HOWEVER, it seems to have some older features, such as minute mechanics of window mechanisms, and little things here and there. The TITLE of the car also says it's a 1966.

Even with the 117 model number, is it possible it could be the 1966 crossover model?
