Can anyone tell me if a LUK clutch friction plate will work with a F&S pressure plate?

The main difference I can see is that the splined centre on the LUK friction plate is about 1cm shorter than that of the F&S friction plate. I'm wondering if it is going to be long enough to reach the splines on the gearbox drive shaft. Does anyone have any experience of this?
