Congrats , Christian...

You know what you are doing.. This is again a nice piece of history that is restored...
Every coachbuilt whould like to be done that way.
For me it is a Restoration with a BIG "R".

Can you help to Identify any of those Hebmullers in the other tread "where are they now"

Thanks. Peter

Christian,

The car looks beautiful. What is the little plate... 10mm by 50mm on the edge of the door between the two rubber door stops? It looks like it is held on by a two rivets or screws and may have some numbers stamped on it?

After 11 month, *151* had it's first roll out. At 8:05 a.m, Christian got the official o.k. by the guverment to drive legal on the road. So we made a little trip around Hessisch Oldendorf, Christian and me followed Traugott in his Schwimmwagen. With it's maching Porsche engine, the car sounds very nice. All the technical stuff works nearly perfect inclusive the pre-A break system. A few little things to do - and Bad Camberg could come...

Well - I remember the moment when we took the Rometsch out of the garage in Switzerland - not knowing, what the future might bring - the only thing, which was clear, was : A LOT OF WORK !!!!

Now the car did his first drive on the street again - HE`S BACK !!!

What a great resurrection !!! Congratulations !!

...and one more thing : I want to mention Mr. Guido B., a car collector in Switzerland, wich time ago gave me the info , that he knewed the place, where Rometsch #151 was waiting for a prince to" get him back to life " :!:

So, without Guido, that Rometsch would still be there in that " whole " :!:

...and last, but not least : Thanks to Bjoern, for keeping us always updated with his great pictures -
Thanks !

Andreas 😎
