Can somebody tell me more about this round magnesium sump? I found it at a Swap Meet about 10 years ago. It fits a 36 horse or Porsche Pre A 2 piece case.

Does anyone know who made it or what it's original application was?

Chris Morely has reproduced them in aluminum I think.
