Hi, I am the moderator of Coachbuild.com
We first add specific coachbuilders to our forum: http://www.coachbuild.com/forum
When we have gathered enough info and pictures about a specific coachbuilder, a dedicated gallery will be added to the main website.
So please help us out and have fun sharing your knowledge about all the VW-coachbuilders!

Welcome to the forum Michiel!

There were many coachbuilders who built on the VW, Rometsch, Hebmüller, Karmann, Denzel, Dannenhauer & Stauss, Beutler, Drews, Papler, Binz, Austro-Tatra and more... what is your criteria for listing them on the site?

I know... We limit ourselves to special coachbuilt versions built for personal transport (pkw), one-offs, limited series sedans, limousines, coupes, convertibles, estates, shooting brakes, etc. based on a standard chassis, built by a renowned coachbuilder.

No kit cars and no one-time efforts by private persons in a shed.
We rule out most utility vehicles (however some pickups and vans can be very interesting), hearses, fire engines, etc.

Here are three articles for you to read: http://www.coachbuild.co...&id=25&Itemid=69

Almost all types of conversion can be posted and discussed at the forum and then the admin and moderators can use all the info to create a gallery at the website.

We always welcome new guest writers, so if any of you is an expert on a specific coachbuilder or owns a coachbuilt VW and wants to write a nice story, then this will be most welcome to be published on the main website's frontpage.
