I had heard that, is it on Claus' registry ?

Yes, I'm sure LA has a '52 Kab. I spoke to Claus about this car at Lavenham and he asked if I have the numbers. I still don't have them.

What happened to the ex-Richard Cotton '52 'vert? I know he sold it to Jacky Morel in France and that BBT Bob ended up with it. But Bob sold it about five years ago. Did it come back to the UK?

Peter, Claus,
Can you, or someone, please tell the number of cars when the count was equal?
Many thanks,

I think it was 144 cars. The Split Karmann list is still at 144 (with yours not added), the Heb list is now at 145 with #232 added the other day.

So what's the future for this much "modernised" thing?
Did they just switch it to "fat-chick" guards, bonnet and engine lid or does the butchery run deeper?

Sadly it goes deeper, it's now on a newer chassis and has a newer engine.

Damn! So that means finding the right pan, a period motor and I'm guessing a transaxle as well?
I guess is this a dumb question and if anybody has them it'll probably be someone on here, but are you going to be able to score these?Sad
