The chassis is almost ready. When you take a good look you see a new type masterbrake and steering box ,i made this only for the safety the original steering box and masterbrake are still there. The body moved into the garage ,we taken more pictures how every part is mount for later . the nex step is to rebuild the body complete before the paint job so we can see/make parts fit, also we have a indication what parts are missing.

Good job Nicolas. I did the same on the Zelensis. restore the body and mounting every part before painting. This avoid fitting problems.

It's time to place some pictures of the Enzmann
We are very bizzy with the Enzmann so we don't have much time to update every week.
The body has some cracks and a the left front what was replaced in the past and not good on the right place.
We have fiberglassed the parts together and make it as it was in 1957.
Headlights must have any place to mount so fiberglass again.
More holes to close fiberglass.
Mount the body on the floorpan and make some adaptations.
After a few months of work on the body we spray it in a special epoxy to protect the paint from the fiberglass.
After a week we have scour it with 180 dry paper
Spray it again in the epoxy after a week we scour it with 240 dry paper.
Again a week later spray it 3 times in groundlayer
Now we scour it 800 waterproof after a week .
In the mean time we close all the bubbles in the fiberglass.
Again a week later he gets his final red paint VW L 550.

Now we wait a few weeks and replace the body on the floorpan and rebuilt it.
The target is HO in Germany

After repair the body (there are some cuts out and the front was bent) we have grounded 3 times before we paint it red.
The rebuild was easy because we has rebuild it before. New leather on the seats looks amazing. The engine is rebuilt and started in no time . His first km are a fact on the new Porsche speedo .We have some little thinks to do before we go to the first show IKW Wanroij in the Netherlands a week later we drive the Enzmann 506 to HO Germany. We have done a lot of work the past year on the Enzmann but the project is ready now

Hello Nicolass,

I saw your Enzmann at the International Kever Weekend in Wanroij. Very nice! I took a picture of your VW right after the strong rain on Saturday. Here we go:

More pictures of the awesome IKW Wanroij VW meeting in my blog: http://www.classiccult.com/blog/ikw-wanroij-2013.html
